The theme for the Forum, "Research: Critical tool for self-empowerment", will enable participants to reflect upon ways in which research is currently used to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples with the opportunity to engage in a process that begins with the self-empowerment for the individual and, ultimately, enables family and community well-being.
